Our Projects

At DigInHealth, we are continuously involved in a range of innovative research projects that harness the potential of digital technologies to improve public health outcomes. Some of our ongoing and past projects include:

StigmaApp application creates a space for communication and collaboration between health professionals, health organizations, academic researchers and patients. One of her goals is to empower people with chronic and occasional pain about the possibilities they have to deal with it. To inform users with new practices and methods for dealing with pain. It gives the right to researchers, health organizations and health professionals to communicate with the users of the application, and to provide them with information related to the treatment of pain. It also enables the notification of an event and a campaign, inviting users to participate in any way they can. It has a notification mechanism through which users can be notified of new posts and messages that may concern them.
There is also the possibility of direct communication between the users of the application. Each user can choose other users to communicate with, but also reject those they do not want. Each communication message can be permanently deleted by the author of the message. The message can be plain text, text with photo or text with video. The user can save the messages he has received or sent. every user has the possibility to follow other users or to be followed. If you follow another user, you will receive their posts with priority. You can also register your areas of interest so that you receive priority updates related to these areas. The application provides aggregate results of statistical analysis, concerning the pain data entered by the users of the application.
PainApp application helps in regular pain recording and assessment, empowering the user to identify their pain points. Each pain record can include more than one point. At each new pain recording, he can complete a questionnaire, regarding the characteristics of the pain and another one regarding the consequences of the pain in his daily life. The user has the possibility to see the history of the pain recordings he has made. The application enables the user to determine the frequency of his sports activities. The data collected is anonymous and used for academic purposes only.
The user has the possibility to record the treatments he receives. For each treatment, he can register the medicine he receives, the method and frequency of taking the medicine. He can then evaluate the effect of the treatment. A notification mechanism is used to inform the user about the evaluation of his treatment, in relation to the frequency of the treatment. The user can delete any data concerning him at any time he wishes.
